Jennafer Hobbs
Director
Jennafer studied at TCC, earning an Associate's Degree before transferring to ODU, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. She began working at WCLC in 2017 as a teacher in our Summer Rec and preschool programs. After teaching for three years, Jennafer became the Preschool and Summer Rec Coordinator for two years before becoming Assistant Director for two more years. She is now our Director.
Sarah Tolson
Assistant Director
Before coming to WCLC in 2016, Sarah gained experience working in classrooms as a 2's Teacher and later as an Assistant Director. Sarah began working at WCLC as our Admissions Coordinator for 5 years and later became our Classroom Coordinator before becoming our Assistant Director.

Coordinators, Teachers, and Assistants
Our staff members participate in continuous training for professional advancement and meet standards and requirements set forth by social services. WCLC teachers lead the way in enriching each child’s preschool experience driven by hands on learning and preparing them for Kindergarten readiness. Many of our staff hold degrees or certifications in the field of Early Childhood Education, are CPR trained and certified, and all are background checked.
